Introducing Driving Hydration not only helps make the roads safer, but also reduce accident-caused vehicle downtime and reduce long term insurance premiums. With one insurance broker having negotiated up to a 5% discount with the local office of a nationwide insurance company, the industry is waking up to the importance of hydration.

smiling-driversFurthermore, with most transport companies today facing challenges retaining drivers, offering high-quality free water is a fantastic staff-benefit. Drivers currently purchasing tea/coffee or water on a daily basis, will save up to £400 per annum each by using the facilities your company has installed

Ultimately our goal with Driving Hydration is to educate the industry, increase road safety and save lives. However, saving lives takes on a dual meaning for us due to our unique charitable links with the two charities The Africa Trust and Christian Aid. To date donations total over £10 million, which has provided drinking water to more than 2 million of the world’s poorest people.

Any organisation implementing the Driving Hydration campaign will contribute towards the installation of Elephant Pumps, giving fresh, clean water to African school children in what remains some of the world’s poorest countries. Larger transport companies will, in recognition of their purchasing decision, receive a framed photo of the actual pumps they have contributed towards, carrying their organisation’s name alongside a letter of thanks from one of  the African children.
